Unique Art Program/Real World Experience
Most of the colleges I looked at only offered limited art programs (photog/ceramics/fine arts, etc.). At California College of the Arts, there were a number of art programs to choose from. My program was pretty unique- Jewelry/Metal Arts. Besides peaking my interests, Calif. College of the Arts provided a really strong real world foundation. CCA had individual professional jeweler's benches with flexible shafts, a wide range of tools, and a a senior studio where I could get hands on experience. I have been out of school for a few years and am doing well with a line all my own.
