If you want to become a history teacher and you finished history school, you will need to find a certified online degree in teaching and vice versa. Basically, you need to have two simple degrees, one for history and one for teaching skills.
You can find further online degrees for a history teaching career that certify in certain areas. For example, if you want to teach architectural history, for example, you will obviously need to have an architectural history degree.
It is vital for you to understand that you need to find certified online degrees to be able to use them in your career, otherwise it is just money down the drain. There are more online degrees that aren’t certified than certified, so take your time and avoid making any wrong decisions. It takes time to get a degree and if it isn’t certified you will have problems because of it.

You start in primary school and make your way to the university level of teaching. There are the things you want in a successful career, fame and money. It is also far easier to teach young adults than 13 year olds about Napoleon and the civil war.
To get to these higher certification levels you will need to follow some training courses and pass some exams. The process takes several years and you will only be able to become a university teacher after a longer period, but you will get there eventually. I think this should be your goal in a history teachers career, becoming the best possible history teacher and teaching in a university.
For an added bonus, when you become a university history teacher it would be a good idea to have a book written with your view on a certain topic in history, the holocaust for example, or any other topic that interests you. This ensures a bit of extra income and a bit of extra fame to your resume.
History teachers should always be passionate about their work because you can’t teach someone else about something you don’t like.
