You can complete a certificate program in eight months, and earn a degree in just over a year.

EBI is authorized by the New York State Board of Regents to award the Associate in Occupational Studies (A.O.S.) Degree in Accounting, Office Technologies, Medical Assisting, Medical Coding & Billing, Medical Coding & Reimbursement Specialist; and its programs are registered with the New York State Education Department.
EBI is accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools to award certificates and associate's degrees.
The Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools is listed as a nationally recognized accrediting agency by the United States Department of Education. Its accreditation of degree granting institutions is recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation.
The Elmira Business Institute Medical Assisting Program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP), on recommendation of the Curriculum Review Board of the American Association of Medical Assistants Endowment (CRB-AAMAE).

I like how Elmira is very responsive! Elmira took the time to sit down with me and explain all of my financial aid choices and they even guided me through the FAFSA process.
